Takoyaki Recipe

takoyaki, samurai balls
Takoyaki balls is also known as Octopus balls, tako means octopus. This delicious snack was originated from Japan. I'm so glad i got my own takoyaki pan after a year of searching where i could buy this kind of takoyaki maker. Thanks to my cousin"s wife who bought this takoyaki pan for me all the way from Japan. Now i can cook my own samurai balls at home anytime without going to the mall just to eat my favorite snack.

I'm going to share it to you how did i cook my own Takoyaki balls. First thing you have to buy is of course the Takoyaki pan, there are two kinds of takoyaki pan, the one that you can directly put on the stove or the electric takoyaki pan.

How To Make Rice Wine or Tapey

Balatinaw Rice
I wrote this topic in my blog for the request of my beloved uncle Oscar. A request to research the procedure of home made rice wine. Uncle Oscar lives in the U.S. for a long long time and is far faraway from the land of rice wine. He missed the taste of "tapey" so he wanted to make a tapey to satisfy his cravings. There's no taste like the old way of making the tapuy compared to the rice wine that you buy in the groceries nowadays that's why i made this for you uncle Oscar so you can make your own tapey even far from cordilleria.

Escabeche The Pinoy Fish Fillet

Escabeche is one of the easiest recipe here in the Philippines and commonly serve during special occasions but i am going to cook escabeche fish fillet now for our dinner, no especial occasion just a dinner for the family. Escabeche is a Mediterranean cuisine which refers to a dish of either poached or fried fish, chicken or pork that is marinated in an acidic mixture like vinegar or with the use of citrus fruit like calamansi or lemon juice before serving, that's how foreign cook their own . But the escabeche here in the Philippines is being cooked in different procedure. The sauce is the one added with lime or vinegar to make it sour and they add sugar to turn it in to sweet and sour escabeche. Here is how i cook my own version of sweet and sour

Spaghetti in hotdog

hot dog spaghetti, weird foods, mc spaghetti, jolli spaghetti, jollibee, mc donalds

Here is my version of spaghetti. I actually saw this style on my friend Mango gil's Facebook photo and it inspired me to make my own version. The recipe is same with the way i cooked my pinoy spaghetti, what new here is the hotdog holding the pasta. It's quite interesting, funny style and new to my pasta eating kids. LOL
